Battery

It is always possible to choose the right battery size based on the application and purpose. There are three different types of maintenance-free lithium-ion batteries available: 100 Ah is the standard; 120 Ah or 150 Ah are optional.

Performance

The EREL05 performs similarly to the diesel-powered model; in fact, because of the EREL05's optimised weight distribution for a lower centre of gravity, the tipping load is even somewhat higher. Therefore, there are no performance drawbacks for the electric drive when compared to the traditional diesel drive. When compared to a diesel-powered machine, an electrically driven machine is more productive. Overall, the diesel engine is less effective and efficient than the electric motor, which is the more ecologically friendly option.

Cost

A diesel-powered machine's operating energy expenses are far more than those of an electrically driven one. Over the course of its full useful life, the e-machine proves to be a more cost-effective investment due to its amortised higher acquisition price.
